Use this guide when:

You have a genuine concern for the safety or welfare of any persons on board a boat, who have not returned or checked-in within a reasonable amount of time.

What you need before you begin:

  • Their Float Plan, if one was given to you.

  • Pen or Pencil.

  • Clean sheet of paper or writing tablet.

  • Telephone book.

How the guide works:

  • Each step will begin on a new page.

  • Follow all of the instructions as directed in the step.

  • Use your browser scroll bars as needed to read the information.

  • When you choose a response, the guide will display the next step for you to follow.

  • Some steps are intentionally skipped based on your response.
